Casual Conversation: Science Policy with Christa Wagner, PhD - Genetics and Public Policy Fellow @ ASHG and NHGRI

Christa Wagner, PhD is currently completing her work as the Genetics and Public Policy Fellow sponsored by the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) and the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI). The fellowship consists of 3 rotations through the Policy and Program Analysis Branch at NHGRI, a Congressional rotation which she conducted in the office of United States Senator Sherrod Brown, and with the Science Policy Department at ASHG. Previously, Christa completed a BCI fellowship with the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance during her 5th year of graduate school. She holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from Johns Hopkins and a BA in Biochemistry from Oberlin College.
